This video was produced the week following Hurricane Katrina's landfall (August 29, 2005) and distributed to field work locations the first week in September.

   2. Briefly describe this entry’s communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 100 words):

Entergy Corporation overcame enormous obstacles to restore power to over 1.1 million customers following Hurricane Katrina. Responding to this major hurricane caused an unprecedented working environment for employees. During the immediate aftermath of the storms, many of Entergy's employees didn’t know the fate of their own homes or, in some cases, their families. They were also faced with weeks of 16-hour days of restoration work. This video was produced to recognize their dedication and the great work they were doing -- restoring hope to thousands of customers.
