With the passage of sweeping new tax reform legislation benefiting business growth within the state, Ohio was primed to promote its business-friendly environment as well as its attractive home life away from work. The ads targeted key C-level decision makers and appeared in prominent business magazines. To make the message more tangible and personal for that audience, the ads featured case studies from FORTUNE 1000 firms already successfully operating in the state, and included a testimonial statement from the featured company's chief officer. As hoped, the ads have resulted in a substantial increase in Web site traffic and telephone inquiries.
